June Beauty Favorites

Is it really that time already for monthly beauty favorites?! Sheesh, this summer sure is flying by. I need to stop and savor it while it lasts; before we know it, there probably will be snow on the ground again here in the Midwest …
Anyways! I don’t have too many new products to share with you this month; I’ve been trying to be better about using what I already have, and since it has been so humid out, I haven’t been wearing much of any makeup except for the occasional night out.
So, with that, let’s get into it.

Benefit Rockateur Box Blush – This is the epitome of a rose gold blush. It provides just enough color, as well as a subtle sheen to the tops of my cheekbones. I guess that would kind of make it a blush and highlighter all-in-one, right?
Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette in Light – I’ve been reaching for this product quite often lately. My normal concealer is a couple shades too light for me right now since I’ve managed to get a good tan going, so the darker shade in this palette has been perfect for covering acne and dark spots.
Clinique All Over Face Glow in 02 Pink Glow – Okay, so this has been in my collection a long time. Like, longer than I care to admit. I randomly picked it up last month to see if it still was any good, and it sure proved that it was! I have been using this in combination with Milani’s Luminoso blush, and it makes my skin look radiant and fresh. This is so old that Clinique doesn’t even make it anymore, but I found you a similar product here!
CoverGirl Line Exact Liquid Eyeliner – I’m pretty sure this is the first liquid eyeliner I ever purchased and wore as a teenager, and I continue to come back to it today. It adds just enough definition to my eyes, and it doesn’t smudge or sweat off during the day.
NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Nude Peach – I think I’ve included some shade of this lip gloss every month since I’ve started posting my monthly favorites. I just can’t help it – it’s a great gloss formula, and the color payoff is ah-mazing. This one can be worn on its own for a pop of coral on the lips, or it can be layered with another lipstick for added color and staying power. My favorite combinations with this gloss are either Revlon’s Pink in the Afternoon or Coralberry.
What were your favorite beauty products during the month of June?

  • Oh my gosh I want all of these things! I'm glad you reviewed that eye shadow! I've been wanting it!

  • Love that lipgloss! So pretty! And I'm obsessed with that liner too!

    • Right?! It's one of the oldest products out there, but it works so well.

  • I should pick up the Sonia Kashuk concealer palette – my under eye concealer has been looking strange lately because it's too bright on my (somewhat) tan skin!

    • This would be perfect for that! I would just mix the concealer with a bit of eye cream or moisturizer before using it under your eyes – it can be a little drying.

  • I am very intrigued by the NYX gloss! Is it sticky at all? Good picks! 🙂

    • No, it's not sticky at all! They are the best glosses I've ever used. Always keep an eye out at TJMaxx for box sets – that's how I found this one.

  • Benefit's names for their products are probably the best out there!! That blush sounds wonderful!! Love the concealer palette- was going to grab it at target this past weekend and then put it back!! UGH! mad at myself right now!

    • Haha, oh no! Well, now you have an excuse to go back to Target and get it. 🙂

  • ANYTHING by Benefit is amazing to me!

  • Ok, the Rockateur blush and SK concealer palette are now on my to buy list… I've been eyeing that blush forever anyway 🙂 Thank you for joining us girl!!

  • I've been using my SK concealer palette again lately for the same reasons! My other concealer is way too light, so I love that the SK has darker shades or you can mix them together! I'm making an Ulta order later this week, so I might need to add in that lip gloss!

  • It's definitely a good one!

  • Thank YOU for hosting a new linkup!

  • Absolutely – that concealer palette is a great one, especially for the price!

  • I agree!

  • I've been considering picking up Rockateur for a while now, you're really igniting the flame again! I absolutely love benefit blushes but I wish I could depot it somehow because I travel with my makeup a lot and the packaging is so bulky!

  • I'm loving all of these beauty products… I need to get me some of ALL of those things! 😉

  • I agree with you! They are great products and last forever, but the packaging is less than desirable while traveling.

  • Haha, glad I could fuel the beauty shopping. 🙂

  • I need to try that Sonia Kashuk Concealer Palette…it looks like something I'd love! Love that lip gloss too! Thanks for linking up with us!! I love your list!

  • Heather Miller

I think I need to try that blush. You've convinced me 🙂

  • Kate D

So happy to have found your blog through the linkup! I love it!! I have to agree- clinique does have great blush! so light and airy which makes it feel like you have no makeup on is definitely a huge plus!!

  • Yes, the SK palette is definitely a must-try product. Thank you for hosting this new linkup!

  • Glad I could help make up your mind. 😉

  • Thank you so much for stopping by! I agree about Clinique products – I don't think they get enough recognition in the beauty world. It was the first brand of makeup I ever owned/wore, and I continue to do so today!
