Things That Thrill Me

Happy Thursday, all!

The sun is shining, the air is crisp, and all the leaves around us have finally transitioned to their fall colors. Since I’m anxious to get outside and enjoy this glorious day, let’s get right into things that have thrilled me throughout the week!

DIY Mercury Glass Centerpiece Vases. My feature on the Wedding Party this week is a fun and easy DIY you can do for your wedding decor or even the upcoming holiday season.

Studio A Wish Paperweight. I’m a sucker for wish bones, and this gold paperweight is office perfection. I already can envision it sitting prettily on my desk.

5 Ways Oscar de la Renta Was a Pop Icon. In case you missed the news, fashion designer Oscar de la Renta passed away earlier this week. Although this is a devastating loss to the fashion world and industry, he left behind an incredible legacy and collection of work. This was a fun read that highlights some of his accomplishments and impact in pop culture.

Cinnamon Swirl Pumpkin Bread. Um, hello? Can we squeeze anything more fall-like into this recipe? Ashley did a dangerous thing by posting this recipe because I’m pretty sure I will want to make it every week for the next two months.

Puppy’s First Christmas Dog Bone Ornament. I’ve been keeping an eye out for a cute ornament for Finley for his first Christmas with us, and this one is my top contender. Etsy has lots to choose from!

Mini Apple Hand Pies. I had seen similar recipes to this one floating around Pinterest, but they all looked complicated and time-consuming. Luckily, Carly broke it down into an easy format, and I can’t wait to try these out during the holidays.

F. Scott Fitzgerald Quote. When I came across this, it really struck me and made me stop and think for a minute. I think we all could use this as a reminder once in a while.

Jimmy Fallon and Bradley Cooper Can’t Stop Laughing. If you haven’t watched this interview yet, you’re missing out. Trust me – you’ll be in tears from laughing by the end.
