Things That Thrill Me

If you haven’t watched the trailer for 50 Shades of Bricks, you’re missing out on one of the funniest parodies that I’ve ever seen.

Now that we have a formal dining room, I’m all about tablecloths. This DIY XOXO tablecloth is perfect for Saturday’s holiday of love.

I’m not going to lie – one of the sole reasons that we ever order Chinese food is to have a serving of crab rangoons. This crescent cup version looks equally delicious.

My office is next on the home makeover list, and this free printable calendar would be extra chic on my desk.

Ryan and I finally got ourselves in gear this week and headed back to the gym for the first time in a while. Since my thighs are what I’m most self-conscious about, I’ve been enjoying this circuit in an effort to tone up.

I’ve been loving monochromatic looks lately, especially all-black outfits. I love how chic and sophisticated this outfit is with a belted sweater.

Nobody cooks quite like The Pioneer Woman, and she now has me craving strawberry granola pancakes. Yum!

I find a new hair color that I love daily – this one further fuels my love for ombre locks with beachy waves.

This bedding set has been on my mind ever since I came across it on Pinterest – guest room material, perhaps?

  • Omg that Legos trailer! How am I just seeing it now? haha That is amazing. I'm sure Josh wishes we were going to see that instead of the actual movie we have tickets to Friday night. He's not a 50 shades fan. 😉

So many amazing things! I printed that calendar and it was SO pretty but then I decided I didn't want the black so I switched it up and made it all gold and now it's on my desk at work!

  • That bedding is pretty and I love that outfit. I also will be checking out that Lego thing. Have you seen the Lego movie? I watched it on the plane when we were going to Singapore, its so funny. Anyway… love the new layout too and I hope that you're having a good morning! 🙂

  • You could rock that hair no problem! Loving the new blog design! Those strawberry pancakes sound right up my ally. I swear the only thing that's made a dent in my thighs (besides my cellulite!) is running, unfortunately I kinda have a love hate relationship with running!

  • I love that tablecloth idea! How cool. And that bedding set looks perfect too. Also, the new blog design looks great!

  • I'm with you on the monochromatic looks! I can't get enough of them!

  • That bedding is so gorgeous but why does it have to be so expensive?!? Furnishing a home definitely isn't cheap 🙂 The Pioneer Woman can do no wrong so I'm sure those pancakes are amazing!

  • Mia- MakeMeUpMia

Those pancakes have me drooling… I'm loving the monochromatic looks too!

  • Haha, you're lucky that you can get your man to go to that movie with you!

  • What a fabulous idea!

  • Thank YOU! I am beyond thrilled with it. 🙂 You seriously have so much snow out there – and I thought the Midwest had it bad!

  • You're so sweet, thank you! I'm glad I'm not alone on the hair thing – I change my mind daily about what I should do with it.

  • Right?! So gorg!

  • I agree with you! Too bad it's so stinkin' expensive. And, thank you! I appreciate the feedback. 🙂

  • Thanks so much, Ashley! I am loving it so far, so I'm glad all of you are too. 🙂 The Tone It Up girls do have great thigh workouts!

  • I love The Lego Movie! My husband and I find it rather hilarious. The 50 Shades of Bricks is just as funny. Hope you're having a good day!

  • Girl, you need to go watch that 50 shades parody then. You won't be disappointed. And, thanks for the kind words on the new layout!

  • I still have to make a hair appointment for the next couple weeks, so I'm sure I will change my mind 50 times between now and then. 🙂 Since I'm not much of a runner, I've been power walking on the treadmill to kind of have the same effect … I think like with anything, it will take time to look the way I hope to!

  • Thanks, lady! I'm sad we don't have our formal dining room furniture yet, otherwise that tablecloth would be on it right now!

  • Right?! So seasonally-appropriate and chic.

  • Thanks, mom!

  • Seriously! I mean, I try to save money where I can on little decor items by shopping at TJMaxx and Hobby Lobby, but there are just some things that you can't skimp on price wise.

  • Those pancakes would be the perfect Valentine's Day breakfast!

  • When I saw that hair photo I swear I thought it was you! You've already got those beachy waves down girl!

  • Debra Stachelski
