8 Neutral Farmhouse-Style Quilts for Less from Target

We finally were able to make some serious headway on our master bedroom renovation this past weekend. Our bedroom furniture sold on Craigslist, we picked up our new dresser, and Ryan finished the last of the painting. My vision for the room finally is coming together! Now that I’m able to start shopping for decor and finishing touches, all my attention is on bedding. Admittedly, we’re guilty of not always making our bed, but I think that’s because I never cared enough to make the room look nice. Ha! I’ve recently been shopping for a quilt to pair with our duvet cover, which we plan to keep at the foot of the bed as a blanket. I came across 8 neutral farmhouse-style quilts for less from Target that I just love.

Aren’t these dreamy? I think a cozy quilt is the key to a good night’s rest!

When I set out to find a farmhouse-style quilt, my two must-haves were a neutral color and pretty details. Since I decorate with a lot of neutrals, I never want anything to look boring. Simple, yes, but not dull. So, details such as ruffles, embroidery, etc. help give a quilt texture and stand out among other linens. All these quilts from Target offer both those qualities, and even better that they all are affordable!

one (I like the striped side best) | two | three (the one that we chose!) | four | five | six | seven | eight (LOVE this option)

We ultimately decided on the raw edge quilt from Threshold in white. We’re probably nuts to have white bedding since Finn sleeps in bed with us, but that’s okay! I read countless reviews that this quilt is a breeze to wash and keep clean. I also contemplated between this chenille option and this quilt with embroidered trim detail. Wouldn’t either of those quilts look adorable in a little girl’s room?! A subtle floral patterned quilt also would be perfect for springtime if you change up your linens with the season.

If you’re also in the market for fresh bedding, I highly recommend that you check out one of these 8 neutral farmhouse-style quilts for less from Target. Any of these quilts would work with a variety of home decor styles!

These are so pretty! Our whole entire house is neutral so I’m always drawn to things like this!

  • I love that even though you chose more neutrals, all of the quilts that you used for inspiration have some detailing on them that really stands out. The one that you ended up choosing is so beautiful!

    • Thank you so much! Detail definitely is key to keep from things looking too boring. I can’t wait to put out the new quilt and take actual pictures so everyone can see the detail better – it’s subtle, but so pretty!

  • Loving the neutral theme- you’ll be able to match it with so much. I can’t wait to see your progress!

  • I’ve been eyeing a couple of these in my Target store… not that we NEED one, but they’re so dang cute! Total Anthro knock-offs for like a quarter of the price!

  • I LOVE Target’s home decor stuff. These are all so good, and I like the neutrals.

  • I swear, what can Target NOT do?? I love that store!

  • ooooh so pretty! i’m sure you will be fine with white and Finn. I personally will never do white anything ever again because cat hair is different lol and i have 1 black and 1 grey cat. Chelsea’s hair doesn’t show but still. We don’t make our bed ever because we use separate bedding, but i’ve been thinking of getting a quilt to go over our separate bedding so it all looks uniform? i don’t know. it would only be for when the bed was made, not to sleep with. and because i have 5 more blankets than KC it might be a bit lopsided haha. we’ll see. can’t wait to see your bedroom when you’re done!

  • I loveee all of these options! I’m a sucker for a white bedspread of any kind. Definitely not the smartest option with pets, buttttt they sure do look cute cuddled up on them:)
