As I’ve mentioned here before, it’s no secret that mac & cheese is my all-time favorite comfort food. Although nothing will ever compare to box Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, sometimes we need to change it up a bit to give our taste buds a vacation from the same old stuff.

on Pinterest, and it now has become a staple recipe in my repertoire.
Ryan and I call it “gourmet mac and cheese” – it’s thick, creamy and cheesy. It’s made in the slow cooker, which = quick and easy. It also tastes just as good when reheated for a second-day meal!
