7 Makeup Must-Haves from Wet n Wild Beauty

Wet n Wild Beauty has become one of my favorite go-to drugstore makeup brands. From the crazy affordable prices to the stellar quality to the fact that it’s a cruelty-free brand, what’s not to love?! After recently writing about a couple stand-out products (see those posts here and here) and chatting your ears off on Instagram Stories, I’ve had some questions about what items are worth trying. Here’s a roundup of my 7 makeup must-haves from Wet n Wild Beauty.

7 Makeup Must-Haves from Wet n Wild Beauty
Let’s start with foundation! The Photo Focus Foundation is probably my most recent makeup addition, but it’s also quickly become a favorite. For such a lightweight foundation, the coverage is crazy good while still looking natural! I wasn’t sure that I would like this at first since I typically like matte, long-wearing foundations. However, this is great for lighter makeup days. I definitely get oily throughout the day and have to blot (I have combination/oily skin), but that’s not a big deal. For reference, I’m wearing shade Buff Bisque in the photo at the end of this post which is one shade too dark for me!

The MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals is b-e-a-utiful! Seriously, it rivals my holy grail MAC Soft and Gentle powder. If you’re into disco ball-effect highlighters, then this probably isn’t for you. BUT, if you like something more subtle then I can’t recommend this enough. Such a smooth and creamy formula.

I also can’t get enough of the MegaGlo Contouring Palette in Dulce De Leche … except, I use it as eye shadow. Yep, hear me out! I do set my under eye concealer with the lighter shade – it’s the creamiest shade of yellow/vanilla and really brightens everything up. So, I also use it all over my lids for shadow. The contour shade is a bit strong for my taste, so instead I use it to buff into my crease for an easy makeup look! It provides just enough definition to my eyes without looking overdone. I love when I can use products in multiple ways!

I wrote a whole post about why the Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer is the only one that you need, so I won’t elaborate much more in this post. Just know that it’s incredible, and I’m obsessed with it. I’ve also switched from the L’Oreal mascara primer to the Photo Focus Lash Primer since it’s cruelty-free. It’s a great lash primer! I notice zero difference between the two brands.

The MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipsticks are still some of my go-to lip products. The pigment and staying power of these are so good! Plus, they’re not too drying on the lips. Check out this post and this one for more details. In the photo below, I’m wearing Rebel Rose and I also own Nudist Peach and Berry Recognize. Lately for lips, I’ve been opting to fill in my entire lips with the Perfect Pout Gel Lip Liner in Bare to Comment and then popping some beige gloss on top. These gel liners are such a unique formula! They are super smooth and glide on easily. Not the best staying power, though if that’s important to you in a lip liner.
