Happy Christmas & a Farewell to 2017

Fun fact: me and Ryan love that British people say, “Happy Christmas,” instead of “Merry Christmas.” We even say it to each other and random people in public in really bad fake accents. Ah, it’s the little things in life that bring me joy and laughter. Anyway, to the point of this post – to wish all of you a happy Christmas! My hope is you’re now imagining me saying that in my horrible British accent.

Happy Christmas
It’s kind of crazy to believe that the big weekend we all have been anticipating and planning for finally is here. Honestly, for me it’s kind of like any other weekend. Ryan unfortunately has a normal work schedule, so I’ll just be around baking up a storm and squeezing in the last of those Christmas movies I haven’t yet watched (I’m looking at you, Meet Me in St. Louis). We’re supposed to have a bit of snow where I am in Wisconsin, so I’m excited to have a white Christmas for only the second time since we’ve lived in our house!

This also is my last post for 2017. (But, I’ll still be over on Instagram!) Farewell, you crap year! As always, we made some wonderful memories, but I won’t miss this year one. single. bit. It’s time to move forward and start fresh. We already have so much planned for the first half of 2018 that I’m ready to welcome the new year with open arms and a big bear hug. Until then, I’ll be spending the next week lounging in one of the 400 pairs of plaid joggers I’ve recently purchased (I have an addiction, I swear), eating all the sweet treats, maybe squeezing in a run or two to balance said treats, and of course spending time with my hubby and the cutest dog around.

As I wish all of you a happy Christmas, I want to send a big thank you to everybody that continues to show up to my small space of the Internet. Your support, comments, emails, page views, clicks, EVERYTHING mean so much to me. Some major changes will be happening here soon enough that I’m way (!) excited to share with you.

But, for now I’m sending you Christmas love and cheers to 2018! Catch you next year!
